ACE Mission

Vision

Florida Gulf Coast University Accelerated Collegiate Experience will create an advanced, seamless educational pathway for academically talented high school juniors and seniors.

Mission

The Florida Gulf Coast University Accelerated Collegiate Experience (FGCU ACE) Program is a unique early admission program that continuously aims to support student pursuit of academic excellence, encourage civic responsibility, and practice community outreach.

FGCU's ACE was established in 2005 to afford highly motivated, academically talented high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to complete high school graduation requirements, while simultaneously earning college credit. Articulation agreements with the five-county area public school districts allow ACE students, if they so choose, to continue with high school clubs, activities, and athletics; they may also graduate with their high school class. ACE students attend all classes on the University campus, extending the FGCU experience to some of the area’s high school students with the greatest potential.
