ACE SCHOLARSHIPS

Effective Summer and Fall 2014

FGCU recognizes the benefits of students entering the University after successful completion of the Accelerated Collegiate Experience program.

ACE Honors Graduates

5,ooo.oo per year renewable for three years

Beginning eligibility is the term following high school graduation (excluding summer). The scholarship will not duplicate another FGCU merit based scholarship or waiver. If the student is entitled to multiple awards, the highest award will be provided.

Eligibility:

· Students must be a US citizen or meet requirements of an eligible non-citizen as defined by the Federal Student Aid Program.

· Students must have a 3.9 cumulative high school GPA and 1850 on the SAT or 28 on the ACT.

· Students must apply for the scholarship through the ACE office by the published deadline. The scholarship will be awarded once high school graduation certification has been received.

· Must be recommended by the ACE Director.

Criteria for Renewal:

· Students must maintain full-time academic enrollment at FGCU.

· Students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and complete a minimum of 24 credits each academic year towards their chosen degree program.

ACE Dual Enrollment and Early Admission (non-honors)

2,000.00 per year renewable for three years

Beginning eligibility is the term following high school graduation (excluding summer). The scholarship will not duplicate another FGCU merit based scholarship or waiver. If the student is entitled to multiple awards, the highest award will be provided.

Eligibility:

· Students must be a US citizen or meet requirements of an eligible non-citizen as defined by the Federal Student Aid Program.

·Students must have a cumulative FGCU GPA of at least 3.0 and have completed a minimum of 12 credits hours at FGCU.

· Students must apply for the scholarship through the ACE office by the published deadline. The scholarship will be awarded once high school graduation certification has been received.

· Must be recommended by the ACE Director.

Criteria for Renewal:

· Students must maintain full-time academic enrollment at FGCU.

· Students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and complete a minimum of 24 credits each academic year towards their chosen degree program.
