What is a
Master Course and why do you need it?
- A master course is a template for a course that you teach more than one time.
- When you copy a course more than one time, the database files can become corrupted causing you to lose course materials. A master course allows you to copy each time from the original source, eliminating corruption of files and links.
- A master course should be created for all courses that you will be teaching more than onece.
- The e-learning department can assist you in the creation of a master course.
- If you make changes throughout the term to a course, these changes can be moved to the master course, allowing you to copy those changes to the course the next time you teach it.
- A master course is a great way to keep your course files clean and keeps your files organized and error-free.
