Important Dates

November 15, 2007 - The first day that you can complete the on-line application for an FGCU Foundation Scholarship for the 2008-09 academic year. 

January 1, 2008 - The first day that you can complete the FAFSA for the 2008-09 academic year.

March 1, 2008 - The priority deadline for completing the 2008-09 FAFSA. Students who complete and submit the FAFSA to the federal processor and submit the required documents to FGCU Financial Aid Office by March 1st will receive priority consideration for limited federal, state and institutional need based funds.

March 1, 2008 - The priority deadline for completing the on-line application for an FGCU Foundation Scholarship for the 2008-09 academic year. Students who complete and submit the FGCU Foundation Scholarship to FGCU Financial Aid Office by March 1st will receive priority consideration for foundation scholarships.

March 31, 2008: The last day that you can complete the on-line application for a FGCU Foundation Scholarships for the 2008-09 academic year.

June 30, 2008 - The last day that you can complete the FAFSA for the 2007-08 academic year. Your completed FASFA must be received by the federal processor by your last day of enrollment or by June 30, whichever is sooner.

• If you are enrolled for just the Fall semester in a particular academic year, your FAFSA must be received by the central processor by the last day of the Fall semester.
• If you are enrolled for both the Fall and Spring semesters, your FAFSA must be received by the central processor by the last day of the Spring semester.
• If you are enrolled for the Fall and Spring semesters as well as the Summer term, your FAFSA must be received by the central processor by June 30.
