All incoming students are encouraged to seek outside sources of scholarship assistance available from many community organizations. The Office of Financial Aid at FGCU continually receives information from sources outside the university. When we receive information about scholarship opportunities, we include that information on our website under the scholarship's links. As a service to scholarship applicants, we include the scholarship applications on our website as printable forms so that the applicant can print the application, complete it, and submit it to the appropriate scholarship source.

College Club Housing Scholarship - Deadline : July15, 2008

•   Minimum GPA 3.25
•    Assigned topic essay

Florida Stormwater Association - Deadline August 8, 2008

• Must major in engineering, natural science, public administration or related field
• Must have interest in stormwater management or finance
• Must be enrolled in a graduate program

HRMA Professional Scholarship - Deadline:September 30, 2008

• Must be a member of the HRMA
• Must work in the field of Human Resources
• Must be pursuing SHRM certification and taking steps to sit for the exam

HRMA Academic Scholarship - Deadline: September 30, 2008

• Must be pursuing an educational program leading to a degree in HR Management or Business Administration with a related HR Management major.

Charlotte Regional Medical Center Endowment Program - No Deadline

• Be accepted into the school of Nursing at Edison College, Florida Gulf Coast University (for RN) or the Charlotte Technical Center (for LPN);
• Maintain a 3.0 GPA;
• Be willing to commit to work (either day or night shift, based on available shifts at time of hire) for the Charlotte Regional Medical Center for 2 years once you obtain your Florida license.
