All students may be eligible for various types of financial aid including scholarships.  Current FGCU students and prospective students, who have submitted an admissions application and assigned a University Identification Number (UIN), are strongly encouraged to submit an on-line FGCU Foundation Scholarship Application.  The application will be available on-line beginning November 15, 2008, for the 2009-10 academic year. 

Students should also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) annually to be considered for need-based scholarships and other financial aid opportunities. Applicants can fill out the FAFSA online. Step-by-step instructions to help you complete the application are provided on-line.

Please review the deadlines below for priority consideration for 2008-09 academic year:

• March 1, 2008: The priority deadline for completing the on-line FGCU Foundation Scholarship application for the 2008-09 academic year. Students who complete and submit the on-line FGCU Foundation Scholarship application by March 1st will receive priority consideration.
• The last day that you can complete the on-line FGCU Foundation Scholarship application for the 2008-09 academic year is March 31, 2008.  Applications received from March 2, 2008 through March 31, 2008 will only be considered in the event that no qualified applicants exist in the initial priority pool.
