Advisory Committee




The campus-wide ADA Advisory Committee shall be appointed by the President and shall serve to advise University administration on matters of inclusion, such as accessibility and accommodations related to persons with disabilities.

Committee membership shall be comprised of diverse representation of the University community at large.

The Committee shall:

  1. Advise the University on campus design, construction, programs, and services as they relate to disability and accommodation issues in accordance with University policy.
  2. Review and make recommendations for action on disability issues, policies, procedures, and budget to ensure a “truly accessible” and inclusive educational community.
  3. Report to key leaders the University’s efforts and achievements in creating a “truly accessible” and inclusive educational community.
  4. Advise and promote disability awareness and educational training to the campus community.
  5. Serve as a liaison to campus departments, Adaptive Services, and Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance on disability issues.
