Tuition Waivers, Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

Admission Tuition Waivers

FGCU also uses budget authority granted by the state and the Board of Trustees for the purpose of waiving the tuition for certain types of students. Waivers are awarded based on the University's established key selection criteria of recruitment, retention, diversity and service. Each type of tuition waiver award has specific renewal criteria.

There are a number of different categories of awards for both undergraduate and graduate students. The following links will familiarize you with the type of waiver for which you may be eligible, requirements for applying for a waiver, and the criteria for renewal each term.

Please give special attention to the deadline dates noted within each waiver category. You are encouraged to apply for a waiver BEFORE receiving an admissions decision in order to meet the waiver application deadline.

Please apply for admission at least three (3) weeks in advance of the Tuition Waiver and Scholarship deadlines to allow ample time for us to issue you a University Identification Number (UIN).
