Undergraduate Prospective Students
Applicants who are currently enrolled in high school, or have earned a high school diploma or its equivalent, and are starting college for the first time or have completed no more than 11 transferable credit hours after graduating from high school. Students who participated in a dual enrollment program while in high school are included in this group although they may have earned college credit before graduating from high school. The application for the fall term opens on September 1st.
Applicants who have completed 12 transferable credit hours at a regionally accredited college or university after graduating from high school. You must be in good standing and eligible to return to all previously attended institutions. Dual enrollment students are not classified as transfer applicants since their college credit was earned before graduating high school- they should apply as freshman.
Applicants who are not a permanent resident or naturalized citizen of the United States. These students need appropriate immigration documents (typically an F-1 visa) to study full-time in the United States. For more information view the International Admissions Guide.
The ACE program is designed to bring a unique educational experience to qualified junior and senior high school students who are seeking advanced study options. The program provides full-time study at Florida Gulf Coast University in which students earn college credit while simultaneously completing a high school diploma.
