Accelerated Collegiate Experience Program

Lutgert Hall The FGCU Accelerated Collegiate Experience (ACE) Program is a full-time, early admission program for high school juniors and seniors. Admission to the program is geared toward highly motivated and exceptionally qualified students. Any 10th or 11th grade student attending public, private, or home schooling in the five-county area (Hendry, Glades, Collier, Lee or Charlotte) that meet the admission criteria may apply beginning in December of each academic year.

Students accepted into the ACE program simultaneously complete high school requirements while earning university credit toward a specific degree at FGCU. They do not return to their home high schools for any classes, but are permitted to maintain involvement with their home high school in such areas as sports, clubs, festivals, proms, and graduation.

All ACE students select specific fields of interest and are supported in their work toward both high school diplomas and two years of college credit. Additionally, they have designated FGCU staff for advising and mentoring.

For additional information, please visit the Accelerated Collegiate Experience Program website or contact the FGCU ACE office at 239-590-7430. You may also e-mail the ACE Program Assistant, Ryan Eisenstein, at reisenstein@fcgu.edu.
