In order to assist you better, two samples of Financial Forms consistent with FGCU's standards have been made available for your use.
Select only one form that is appropriate to your specific situation and have your financial institution complete, sign and mail it directly to the university. In order to be considered official, the form has to be mailed by the Bank or brought in a sealed envelope to the Office of Admissions.
If you have a sponsor/parent/guardian who is paying for all your expenses, and you intend to reside on campus, use the
Financial Support Verification Letter from a bank.
If you are going to be living independently off-campus or with a sponsor/guardian/parent in Florida, use the
Sponsor's Financial Support Statement along with a bank statement to verify funds.
Whatever form you decide to use, remember that foreign currency figures are not acceptable. All monies have to be converted to U.S. dollars. The Financial Statement should be dated no more than six months prior to the intended date of enrollment.
