What does FGCUAA stand for?

FGCUAA stands for Florida Gulf Coast University Alumni Association. The FGCUAA was founded on February 7, 2003 as a dues paying organization that is committed to building an enduring relationship between alumni and the University community through enriching programs, pride, achievement, and the encouragement of alumni involvement including contributions of time, talent, and financial support to the University.

How do I join the FGCU Alumni Association?

The first thing you should do is fill out a Membership Application and decide what type of membership you would like to apply for.  FGCUAA members enjoy many benefits, services, and discounts.  More information can be found on the FGCU Alumni Association Membership page.  The following information provides a list of different types of membership:

Can non-FGCU graduates join the FGCUAA?

Yes. Non-FGCU graduates can join the FGCUAA as a friend of FGCU.  Friends of FGCU can become annual or lifetime members.  Friends of FGCU Alumni Association members enjoy the same benefits, discounts, and services as regular FGUCAA members.  More information can be found on the FGCU Alumni Association Membership page.

What do I do if I’ve lost or damaged my FGCUAA membership card?

If your FGCUAA membership card is lost or damaged please send an email to alumnirelations@fgcu.edu with the following information:

  • Subject Line: FGCUAA Membership Card
  • First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name
  • Year of Graduation
  • Birth Date

I need to know my University Identification Number (UIN). Where can I find it?

For graduates of FGCU only:

If you need to know your University Identification Number (UIN) please send an e-mail to alumnirelations@fgcu.edu with the following information:

  • Subject Line: UIN Request
  • First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name
  • Birth Date

*For prospective or current students, contact the Registrar's Office at orr@fgcu.edu to request your UIN.

How do I receive a copy of my transcripts?

An official transcript can be requested in several ways:

  1. A written, signed request that contains the following: your name, university identification number, signature and the complete name and address of where you would like it sent
  2. A transcript request form, or
  3. Transcripts may be ordered via Gulfline and paid for by credit card.
  4. You may also request the transcript be held for pickup at the Office of the Registrar.

If you are picking up a transcript, you will be required to present a photo ID. Transcript Request Forms are available on our web site and at the Office of the Registrar's front counter.

There is a $10.00 fee for each official transcript requested.  Please bring or send your check or money order, made out to FGCU, along with your request to the following address:

Can I still use my (eagle.fgcu.edu) e-mail account?

Yes.  FGCU alumni are able to keep their Eagle e-mail account indefinitely as long as they are actively used.  If an account remains unused for a period of one year, it is subject to archival and removal per our usage policy.  To reactivate your account, please send an email to alumnirelations@fgcu.edu with the following information:

  • Subject Line: Reactivate FGCU Eagle Email Account
  • First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name
  • University Identification Number (UIN)
  • Birth Date

What volunteer opportunities are available?

There are many volunteer opportunities for FGCU Alumni.  Some of the many opportunities include serving on the FGCU Alumni Association Board of Directors, Reunion Committee, or assisting at a FGCUAA event.   Additional opportunities can be found on the Stay Connected page.  Visit the FGCUAA Calendar for a list of upcoming events.

How do I make a donation to the University?
