Tia Freiburger

Originally from Iowa, Tia moved to Florida to work at the FGCU Aquatics Center and to escape the cold of the North. Tia graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Leisure Services Programming and then attended the University of Tennessee where she received her Masters in Recreation Management and Administration. She has been working in the Aquatics field since the summer of 1998 when she traveled to Japan to work in a camp program.

Tia enjoys her job because of her wonderful staff and because of the amazing growth and aesthetics of Florida Gulf Coast University.  Go FGCU Eagles!
