To help protect your machine and our network, we have implemented a computer registration process.Your computer will be scanned and it must meet specific requirements prior to connecting to the Internet in housing.
Registration Credentials
In order to register you will need to have your FGCU student email account activated. If you have not activated your student email account, please go to http://eagle.fgcu.edu and follow the steps to activate your account.
If you have activated your account, and do not remember your Eagle Mail username or password you can look them up by going to If you have activated your account, and do not remember your Eagle Mail username or password you can re activate your account and generate a new password by going to http://admin.fgcu.edu/IS/applications/studentaccts/acctlookup.asp
Network Requirements
FGCU’s Computing Services offers a Pre-Scan option to make the connection process easier. The Bradford Networks Dissolvable Agent (Pre-Scan) allows students to scan their computers and fix any conflicting software problems prior to coming to campus. Please note that a full system scan by the Bradford Networks Campus Manager will still be required upon registration on campus.
The Bradford Networks Campus Manager registration system has a set of policies in place to scan your computer to verify the following credentials:
Current and up to date operating system:
Virus protection with latest updates:
Multiple antivirus solutions conflict with one another and will cause you to fail the Bradford scan. Please note you must uninstall any previous antivirus solutions from your computer before you can install either of the items above.
Console and Device Activation

Before you can use your Gaming Device or Wireless Device on the housing network, you must first register the device with computing services. This is similar to the process used to register your personal computer. The information collected is NOT used to track usage in any way. If you have any questions about activating your console, please contact our helpdesk at (239) 590-1188. To register your device, please visit http://resnet.fgcu.edu (you must be in housing to access this network).
