Instructional Support Leader

Instructional Support Leader must:

  • Be in good academic standing with Florida Gulf Coast University
  • Have earned a course grade of a B+ or higher in the course(s) for which you are interested
  • Earn and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Participate in initial 2-day training and addtional professional development opportunities

You will not be contacted for an interview if you do not meet these requirements at the time your application is reviewed.

           

Instructional Support Leaders are recruited:
  • Ideally 1 semester prior to becoming an Instructional Support Leader
  • By faculty or teaching assistant recommendations
  • By former and/or current Instructional Support Leaders recommendations

 

Application Process:
  1. Thoroughly read the Instructional Support Leader position description
  2. Complete the entire Instructional Support Leader application
  3. Submit application with all requested supplemental documents
    • At least two completed FGCU professor recommendation forms
    • Day and time version of your course schedule from Gulfline for the term you will begin as an Instructional Support Leader. If you have not registered for course please include a projected course schedule.
    • Unofficial transcript from Gulfline
  4. Applicants will be contacted for an interview
