Originally from Budapest, Hungary, Anna comes to Florida via New Mexico but has also lived in New York, Texas, Idaho, and France. She has been teaching at FGCU since 2010 and has taught Composition, Introduction to World Literature, and French. She is involved with the French Club and is an active promoter of foreign languages at FGCU.
Anna is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Literature at the University of South Florida, where her areas of concentration are medieval studies and comparative literature. Her other interests include film theory, feminist studies, 20th century fantastic literature, and second language acquisition. Her hobbies include kayaking, hiking, German, and gardening.
