Professor Lee studied at Kyung Hee University, Ball State University, and Bowling Green State University. Her academic interests interrogate the intersections of intercultural communication, rhetoric, the rhetorical criticism of place, space, and landscape, popular culture, and globalization. Currently, she is working on research projects regarding the rhetorical landscape of Itaewon, the town in the city of Seoul, South Korea. She is also investigating the intercultural rhetoric of popular media such as the television program, Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown. As a teacher, Professor Lee is committed to engaged pedagogy that unites critic, cooperation, and community.
