Jamie MacDonald is an Assistant Professor of Geology within the Department of Marine and Ecological Sciences. He received his Ph.D. in Geology from the University at Albany in 2006, his B.S. in Environmental Geology from SUNY New Paltz in 1998, and his A.A. in Liberal Arts and Social Science from Dutchess Community College in 1995. Dr. MacDonald’s research interests include ophiolites, petrology, tectonics, and Earth Science education.
