Summary of Research Interests:

Dr. Chou is interested in chemical analysis using various instrumentation including UV-vis spectrophotometer, gas chromatograph –mass spectroscopy (GC-MS), x-ray fluorescence analyzer and electrochemical instrument. She focuses on analysis of environmental contaminants that are on the EPA’s list of hazardous compounds to human health and the environment. Her research interests also include developing bioassays for antioxidants and sensors for glucose using gold nanoparticles.
