James E. Lorenz is the Organist and Choirmaster at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Fort Myers, Florida, and the assistant director for the Fort Myers Symphonic Mastersingers. He also teaches Music History at FGCU and organ and harpsichord at Edison College. He holds both a Doctor of Music and a Master of Music in Organ Performance from Florida State University, having studied with Dr. Michael Corzine, and a Bachelor of Music in Church Music from Concordia College, Bronxville, New York, where his Dr. Richard Heschke. He is the current Dean of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
