Lee Bushong

Mr. Lee Bushong holds a M.S. in Forensic Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University and a B.L.S in psychology from Barry University. Mr. Bushong joined FGCU in 2013. He is a former detective lieutenant with a large law enforcement agency and specialized in criminal investigations, including homicide. Mr. Bushong has extensive experience in law enforcement and private investigations.

Mr. Bushong's primarily researches and specializes in aggressive and violent behavior. His focus in on the formation of violent ideology and the empirical interpretation of environmental post-violence scenes. He has a particular interest in domestic violence and interfamilial sexual abuse. As a former U. S. Marine, he is involved heavily with veterans organizations and veterans issues. Currently, Mr. Bushong is developing a construct of behavioral psychopathy relating to post-traumatic events as it relates to law enforcement and military members.

Mr. Bushong is currently completing his Ph.D.
