Dr. Rossi received his B.A. in Experimental Psychology from McGill University, Montreal, CA in 1976 with First Class Honours. In 1983 he was awarded a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Bowling Green State University. After completing two years as an electronics design manager and in-house scientist at Frederick Haer an Company in Maine, Rossi was commissioned as a Lieutenant (O3) in the U.S. Navy, where he served for 20 years as a Research Psychologist. For the last seven years of his Naval career, Dr. Rossi served as Scientific Director of the Naval Environmental Effects Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB and Military Liaison to the graduate faculty of the Pharmacology and Toxicology Department at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine where he participated in research programs and lectured in pharmacology and toxicology. Rossi has published over 50 papers in peer-reviewed journals and given over 150 presentations at national and international scientific venues. He has been an visiting/adjunct member of the Psychology faculty at FGCU since fall 2010.
