Program Admission Requirements
  1. Submission of an FGCU Post-Baccalaureate Non-Degree Application to the Office of Graduate Admissions.
  2. Baccalaureate degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution documented by official transcripts.

Applicants may apply for fall or spring admission.  The courses are offered online.  The professional planning workshops required in conjunction with the independent study projects are scheduled in community-based settings and arranged on a case-by-case basis with the program.  Tuition is required for all coursework.

Program Requirements
  1. Required Courses (12 credits)
    PAD 6708 Research Methods & Analysis (3)
    URP 5312 Growth Mgmt & Comp Planning (3)
    URP 5316 Land-Use Planning (3)
    Three 1-credit PAD 6908 Independent Study projects, completed in conjunction with attendance at professional planning workshops.

  2. Electives (3 credits)
    Complete one of the following courses:
    PAD 5255 Community/Economic Development (3)
    PAD 5356 Environmental Policy & Ethics (3)
    PAD 5620 Environmental Law (3)
TOTAL CREDITS REQUIRED: 15 HRS
