The Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Florida Gulf Coast University is an exciting and challenging place to spend your undergraduate years.

Our department is built to support the creative process and professional development. To do this, we provide knowledgeable faculty and professional staff who together create a safe environment where students can practice their chosen field of study and hone their instincts as a professional. Fields of study within the Department of Visual and Performing Arts include studio art and theatre.  

As an undergraduate student in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts, you will be actively involved in mastering your chosen discipline and will receive a liberal education that we believe is integral to your development as an Artist.
