Teaching and research interests: 20th-Century Literature, Creative Writing, Composition

Professor Brock has been teaching at FGCU since 1998, after having been something of an academic Kelly Girl, teaching at universities in Indiana, Tennessee, Idaho, Pennsylvania, and Miami, before landing in Fort Myers. His current projects involve playwriting and performing, where he is a founding member of Ghostbird Theatre Company, the resident theatre company of the Sidney & Berne Davis Arts Center in downtown Fort Myers. A native of Idaho, he is a big fan of Matthew Barney, Boise State football, and Picabo Street.
