Anne Carncross is beginning her second year with the Theatre Program at FGCU. Prior to coming to FGCU, Anne worked as the Technical Director/Resident Sound Designer, as well as Assistant Professor at Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. While at Gallaudet, Anne created sound designs that were audible as well as physical in order to stimulate the deaf and hearing audiences. Anne received her MFA from the School of Theatre at Florida State University in Technical Theatre Production. She also has a BFA degree in Theatre Production/Design from the State University of New York College at Fredonia. Anne has worked in several performance medias including dance, opera, and children's theatre. Anne has worked as a technical director all over the country in various performances.
