Exotic sights, scents, and sounds reign in this fascinating land where Europe and Asia meet. Turkey engages and beguiles, offering a remarkable travel experience. Our odyssey in Turkey and the Turquoise Coast begins in Istanbul with its many treasures: the legendary Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the 6th century Hagia Sofia. We will then travel south to explore the World War I battlefield of Gallipoli, the fabled ruins of ancient Troy, and Greco-Roman ruins at Pergamum, and the spectacular Ephesus, the world's best-preserved classical city. In Marmaris, we will board privately chartered gulets, equipped with private cabins and baths, to cruise the magnificent blue waters of the Mediterranean. Our tour concludes with three nights in the seaside resort of Antalya.
