Continuing Education - Welcome

Continuing Education logoGreetings from the Executive Director's desk and welcome! The Division of Continuing Education and Off-Campus Programs was established in 2006 with the goal of unifying FGCU's off-campus educational efforts for our five-county service delivery area. Our division embraces and encourages the concept of "lifelong learning". Wikipedia has a great definition of lifelong learning; describing it as the concept of "It's never too soon or too late for learning. Lifelong learning is attitudinal; that one can and should be open to ideas, decisions, skills or behaviors."

Continuing Education News & Events

Carol Jonson donationCarol Jonson, (left) with President Bradshaw and Chris Simoneau, Vice President, University Advancement and Executive Director, FGCU Foundation, is a new art history instructor for the Renaissance Academy in 2015 and has devoted her life to education. After lecturing for us for just one term, she was so thoroughly impressed with our organization that she gifted $30,000 from her estate to be used for future RA scholarships. This will allow those unable to participate in our program for economic reasons to have access. Our sincere thanks goes out to Carol for her thoughtfulness and generosity.
