Statistical Process Control

Statistical Process Control (SPC) provides a way for manufacturing and service companies to measure and monitor their processes.

SPC can be used to determine if a particular process is functioning within specific quality standards and to show graphically the amount of variation taking place in that process.

SPC data can be gathered and analyzed either real time or after the fact.

This is an eight hour training program held over two four-hour sessions.  Participants will learn how to utilize the statistical process control format and actually gather and input data into a SPC control chart using a specific process within their organization.

From there, the participant will determine whether the process in operating within a particular set of specifications, whether the process in in or out of control, and determine a quantifiable measurement of the capability of that process (Cpk).

The course is offered both instructor led and web-based.

Upon completion of the course, each participant will receive a certificate.
