Getting Started
If you are not yet an FGCU Student, visit the Admissions Office Web site.
If you are a newly-admitted FGCU student please be sure to sign up for an Orientation session. As part of this session you will be meeting with an academic advisor who will assist you in registering for classes for your major. Distance Learning students are not required to attend an Orientation session.
If you are a current FGCU student who wants to change your major or explore the requirements for any Arts and Sciences major, please call (239) 590-7196 to schedule an appointment to meet with an academic advisor.
Program Requirements
Applicants applying for admission must:
Admission requirements include:
- Satisfaction of all applicable university admission requirements.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours.
- Either a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.50 or a minimum grade point average of 2.75 for the most recent 30 (+/-) college credit hours.
- International students who speak English as a second language, must earn a minimum score of 600 on TOEFL to demonstrate proficiency in English so as to facilitate student success and learning in the program of study.
Applicants may apply for either spring or fall admission. To assure consideration, applicants must be admitted to FGCU and supplemental application materials must be mailed to the College of Health Professions.
Application Deadlines:
- To be considered for Fall admission, the deadline for all application materials is March 1st.
- To be considered for Spring admission, the deadline for all application materials is October 15th.
