Administration program is designed to prepare individuals to work as administrators in various types of long term care facilities such as nursing homes and assisted-living facilities. Following completion of the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the national nursing home administrator examination offered by the National Association of Boards of Examiners of Long Term Care Administrators and for licensure examinations ffered by individual states covering state-specific rules nd regulations.

Coursework for this degree program is offered by distance earning. The 60-hour upper division curriculum includes interdisciplinary ore courses based on generic health care rofessional competencies; courses in management, human resources, law, ethics, finance, marketing, patient care, risk management; 500 hour internship in a skilled nursing facility; an interdisciplinary senior seminar; and the University Colloquium.
