The Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) program with a major in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) prepares advanced practice nurses to embrace a collaborative practice model that will provide direct services to acutely, critically or chronically ill patients in a variety of setting. Graduates of this program are eligible to seek national certification as Acute Care Nurse Practioners.

Acute Care Nurse Practitioner students at Florida Gulf Coast University have access to the entire range of opportunities available to University students, including on campus and on-line access to our 114,000 square foot library, our recreational, art, NCAA Division 1 athletics and scholarly lecture series offerings.  We invite you to peruse not only the MSN Acute Care Nurse Practitioner site, but also to visit the rest of the FGCU website to see the entire set of resources available to you.
