The Nurse Anesthesia Program is a university-based program leading to a Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) degree with a major in Nurse Anesthesia. It is the only university-based nurse anesthesia program leading to a M.S.N. in Southwest Florida.

 Nurse Anesthesia students at Florida Gulf Coast University have access to the entire range of opportunities available to University students, including on campus and on-line access to our 114,000 square foot library, our recreational, art, NCAA Division 1 athletics and scholarly lecture series offerings. We invite you to peruse not only the MSN Nurse Funds for ExcellenceAnesthesia Program site, but also to visit the rest of the FGCU website to see the entire set of resources available to you.

Representatives from the program will be at the Graduate Studies Fall Expo on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Student Union. For more information please click here.

The application deadline for Spring 2010 isJuly 15, 2009.

The deadline for supporting documentation for the application isAugust 15, 2009.

Interviews for new applicants will be:  August 29, 2009.

 

 

The MSN Nurse Anesthesia Program is proud to announce that the inaugural class graduated in May of 2009 and achieved a 100%  first time passing rate on the National Certifying Examination.
