Instructor, received his bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences in June 1993 from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, and his Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Human Anatomy in June 1999 at the Universidad Central del Caribe in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. He moved to the United States in August 2001. He has been a member of the American Association of Anatomy since 1999. He has been involved in biomedical research in the area of neurochemistry while he worked for the Caribbean Institute of Neurobiology in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He also served as a member for the Board of Anatomical Donations of Puerto Rico for almost three years. Professor López-Rosado has taught Histology, Gross Anatomy and Neuroanatomy to undergraduates, graduate students and medical students and became involved in the dissection of cadavers since 1993. He has an interest to pursue doctoral studies in curriculum an instruction. His current teaching responsibilities in the Physical Therapy Program involves co-facilitating the Movement Science course, advising several Independent Studies from graduate students involving dissection of specimens and also dissecting the cadaver and tissues for our laboratories.
