The School of Health and Rehabilitation contributes to the mission of Florida Gulf Coast University and the College of Health Professions, responding to the needs of the Southwest Florida region for health care professionals. All programs in the school are evidence-based and taught by faculty highly skilled in the program content. Undergraduate and graduate programs are offered in the fields of occupational therapy, physical therapy, health sciences, athletic training, health services administration, community health, human performance, clinical laboratory science, and health professions education. Education for today’s health professional is focused on ethical practice, sound clinical reasoning, cultural sensitivity, technological acuity, and client-centered practice. Most programs involve experiences in community or work settings.
