College of Health Professions and Social Work

Welcome to the College of Health Professions and Social Work at Florida Gulf Coast University. The College takes great pride in creating a positive, rich student-centered learning environment that is well grounded in didactic knowledge coupled with a strong clinical emphasis. All of the programs offered in the College share a common theme in giving back to the communities we serve. Our education focus, therefore, ensures that our students will receive the most up to date, contemporary program that is supported through clinical partners in our community. All of the programs in the College are supported by Marieb Hall - a brand new state-of-the-art building that contains instructional classrooms, instructional and research laboratories, and clinical simulation laboratories that are second to none. Moreover, Marieb Hall will continue to support our faculty’s innovative teaching, undergraduate and graduate student research areas, as well as foster the community service mission of the College. The results of our student learning and program outcomes speak for themselves as we enjoy nearly 100% national board passing rates and job placements for our graduates. I invite you to explore our website further to learn more about who we are and the programs we can offer you. It is truly a transformational time to be a student in the College of Health Professions and Social Work, and there is no question it is a great time to be an Eagle at Florida Gulf Coast University!!
