Marydelle Polk, Ph.D., CNE, ARNP-BC currently serves as Program Director of the PHC-MSN Program at Florida Gulf Coast University. She is active in local and statewide advanced practice efforts and has served on the Board of Trustee for the Florida Nurses Association for the past six years. She has been active in Sigma Theta Tau International and has served as President, Vice President, and Faculty Counselor; Dr. Polk has served as a consultant on graduate education and was involved in international nursing prior to coming to Florida in 1990. She has taught in both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Her educational interests lie in informatics, role development, and curriculum development; and her clinical focus healthy aging. She maintains  her practice as a family nurse practitioner.
