SW FL Regional Juvenile Detention Center

10 hour position open (one weekend day required) working in the Mental Health Department at Southwest Regional Juvenile Detention Center with adolescents ages 12-18.

Minimum of Bachelors in Social Work, Mental Health, or Criminal Justice field preferred. Must be able to pass a background screening. Experience working with adolescents, substance abuse and mental health population. Valid Florida driver’s license required.

Job description:

Facilitate group therapy sessions such as educational and process groups, individual sessions, suicide risk assessments, and family sessions as needed. Complete all required DJJ paperwork, including treatment plans, progress notes, discharge planning.
