FGCU CHS Admission Requirements


Admission to the program is based on test scores, letters of recommendation, interview and supporting materials that attest to a student's maturity level and academic ability.

Students begin university work while completing high school graduation requirements ... greatly enhancing the value of their junior and senior years.

Students interested in careers in health, science, mathematics, pre-engineering education or legal studies, will shorten the time needed to obtain degrees.

 

Program Criteria

  1. Complete all necessary high school requirements to be designated a rising junior or senior.
  2. Demonstrate exceptional ability and college readiness as substantiated by scholastic resume of academic achievements and activities.
  3. Achieve a recommended dual enrollment recaluculated GPA of 3.3.
  4. Achieve a recommended SAT score of 1550 or an ACT composite score of 23.
  5. Obtain two letters of recommendation (prefer from principal or principal designee and teacher in the area of degree interest).
  6. Complete the FGCU Admission Application
  7. Complete the FGCU Collegiate High School Supplemental Application
  8. Complete and successfully pass an interview with the FGCU Collegiate High School Admission committee.
