CHS Vision and Mission

Vision

Florida Gulf Coast University Collegiate High School will create an advanced seamless educational pathway for academically talented high school juniors and seniors.

Mission

Florida Gulf Coast University Collegiate High School was established in 2005 to afford highly motivated and academically talented high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to complete high school graduation requirements while simultaneously earning college credit.  Florida Gulf Coast University Collegiate High School students attend all classes on the University campus thereby extending the FGCU experience to some of the area's high school students with the greatest potential.

Articulation agreements with the five-county area public school districts allow CHS students, if they so choose, to continue with high school clubs, activities and athletics and graduate with the high school class.

The FGCU CHS is a unique early admission program that continuously seeks to support student pursuit of academic excellence, encourage civic responsibility and practice community outreach.
