Dear parents and prospective students,

Thank you for visiting our website. It is my pleasure to tell you a bit about the FGCU Accelerated Collegiate Experience program.

The Accelerated Collegiate Experience Program was established in Fall 2005. In August 2006, FGCU welcomed its first ACE cohort of 16 exceptional students. We continue to grow by selecting the most capable high school juniors and seniors in the five county region of Southwest Florida (Hendry, Glades, Collier, Lee & Charlotte). Through unique student development and academic support, we help transform these young scholars into successful university students.

As the founding director of the ACE Early Admission program, I take pleasure in establishing a working relationship with these talented students, their parents, and the high schools. I find this opportunity both exciting and rewarding.
