Florida Gulf Coast University Graduate Students Present Mini-conference for Older Adults
FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University graduate students enrolled in the Gerontology Certificate program will present a Mini-conference for Older Adults as part of Science of Aging from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 25 at Cypress Cove in Fort Myers.
Following is a schedule of topics and presenters:
•1:30 p.m. "Oral Cancer"
• 2:00 p.m. "Aging and Vision: A comparison of normal age related changes versus diseases of the eye; how these changes effect daily living of the older adult"
Karen Landy? 2:45 p.m. "How can strength training benefit me?: A focus on strength training in women over 65"
• 3:15 p.m. "Parkinson's Disease"
