Restoration Coordination for the Big Cypress Basin: Estero Bay, Naples Bay, Rookery Bay and the Ten Thousand Islands
FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University is hosting “Restoration Coordination for the Big Cypress Basin: Estero Bay, Naples Bay, Rookery Bay and the Ten Thousand Islands,” a South Florida Ecosystem Restoration Task Force Regional Action Forum, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, March 29, in Whitaker Hall, Room 104. The Florida Department of Environmental Protection/Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve is cosponsoring the forum.
The one-day workshop will include researchers and resource managers actively involved in science, management and restoration of the Big Cypress Basin region of Southwest Florida, as well as representatives from projects sponsored by federal, state, regional and local governments.
