Florida's Universities Send Student Representatives to FGCU Friday
FORT MYERS, FL - Students from Florida's other 10 state universities will be in Southwest Florida this Friday to attend the Florida Student Association meeting hosted by Florida Gulf Coast University's Student Government Association from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Howard Hall.
FGCU is expecting between 40 and 50 students to attend, according to SGA president Magali Solimano. The 11 SGA delegations will discuss updates on the special session, budget cuts and the Florida School Code Workgroup. Also to be discussed are FSA's 2002 legislative agenda, Capital Improvement Trust Fund fees and FSA's 25th anniversary event.
