Public Invited to "World Energy Market" Luncheon with Jerry Rafferty
FORT MYERS, FL - The events of Sept. 11 rocked several world markets and Florida Gulf Coast University’s Wall Street Academy invites the public to learn more during “The World Energy Market - Where is it Headed?” with guest speaker Jerry Rafferty of the Rafferty Energy Group, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 10 in the Whitaker Hall Sprint Room.
Rafferty will discuss the current state of the energy market and OPEC’s likely influence in the future. He will also show how to use technical analysis techniques to establish market positions and relate how he guided his company through the aftermath of Sept. 11.
Rafferty is a 30-year veteran and member of the New York Commodity Markets. He owns and operates one of the largest independent futures floor trading operations on the New York Mercantile Exchange, has an introducing broker firm specializing in the NYMEX energy futures and options markets, and is credited with introducing the concept of technical analysis as a tool of market timing in the energy futures markets. He also publishes the daily Rafferty Technical Research report at www.enrg.com.
The lecture and luncheon is the inaugural event of the FGCU Wall Street Academy’s Wall Street Speaker Series. It is open to the first 100 registrants. Reservations are $50.
