Free Workshop on Multidisciplinary Approaches to Educational Issues Offered by Graduate Students
FORT MYERS, FL - Counselors, educators and families are invited to learn about multidisciplinary approaches to educational issues at a free workshop from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Saturday, April 13 at Florida Gulf Coast University in Whitaker Hall.
“Consultation and Collaboration: Multidisciplinary Approaches to Educational Issues” will offer multiple sessions on topics such as redirecting behavior, preadolescents, suicidal youth, helping children respond to tragedy, family involvement, communication skills, raising responsible children, conflict resolution, character building and drug use consequences.
Graduate students in counselor education and special education at FGCU are presenting the workshop.
Space is limited and registration by April 10 is strongly encouraged. On-site registration at 8 a.m. in the foyer of Whitaker Hall is offered on an available space basis.
Attendees may receive in-service points or flex time and registrants from agencies may request a Letter of Participation.
