'Faces of the Everglades' Photography Lecture Series Begins July 10

FORT MYERS, FL - Professional nature photographer and writer Connie Bransilver leads a two-part lecture series offered by Florida Gulf Coast University’s Renaissance Academy at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays, July 10 and 17 at the FGCU Naples Center.

“Faces of the Everglades” explores the hauntingly beautiful, complex and delicate environment of Southwest Florida’s swamplands. Bransilver’s evocative images, music, poetry and stories of personal experiences will inspire audience appreciation and enthusiasm for preservation.

Course fee is $10 for Renaissance Academy members and $15 for others.

FGCU created the Renaissance Academy on the premise that learning should never stop and that keeping the mind intellectually, creatively and culturally active fundamentally enhances the quality of life.

As part of FGCU’s commitment to serving the Southwest Florida region, the Renaissance Academy offers courses both on campus and at off-site locations.
