"Management Styles and Team Building" Workshop Offered by FGCU Florida Institute of Government
FORT MYERS, FL - Managers and employees from both the private and public sectors are invited to attend a one-day course “Management Styles and Team Building” presented by the Florida Institute of Government at Florida Gulf Coast University from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31 at the FGCU Broadcast Building Room 111.
The course will explain how to analyze management and leadership styles, clarify roles within the organization and teach how to build an effective team.

· Delegate effectively
· Understand team dynamics
· Get people to work together toward common goals
· Communicate your expectations to those you supervise
David G. Kelley is instructor for the program. He is an ordained United Methodist minister and the founder and former pastor of Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Coral, a Florida-licensed marriage and family therapist, and a licensed mediator for the state of Florida.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee, a master’s degree from the Divinity School of Duke University and a Doctor of Ministry degree in organization development from the San Francisco Theological Seminary in California. Kelley has been a trainer for the Institute of Government for more than 15 years.
The central purpose of the Institute is to help promote superior performance in government and nonprofit organizations through quality training, consulting and technical assistance.
