FGCU and Lee Memorial Host First Collaborative Benefit March 29
FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University and the Lee Memorial Health System’s Arts in Healthcare Program announce their first collaborative benefit NEW FRONTIERS from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, March 29 in the FGCU Arts Complex.
Funds raised at the NEW FRONTIERS benefit will be used for art exhibitions and events at the FGCU Arts Complex art gallery, as well as for art supplies, stipends for artists-in-residence and special events to support the Arts in Healthcare program.
The “i2art Contemporary 2003: Frontiers” show will be on display in the art gallery and works by disabled artists will be presented in the Arts Complex courtyard.
In addition to fine art, the event will include gourmet food, wine, a silent auction, artist demonstrations, performances featuring Stromboli and the Healthcare HiJinkers, and live music featuring Emmy Award-winning Kat Epple.
The event is sponsored by the Bireley Foundation, Frank and Betty Bireley, and Arthrex Inc.
