Business Center Strengthens Service to Southwest Florida; Hires Government Contracting Business Counselor
FORT MYERS, FL - The Small Business Development Center at Florida Gulf Coast University has appointed Daniel Telep Jr. to the Florida Procurement Technical Assistance Center program as procurement counselor.
Telep will work with business owners to identify contracting and business opportunities with the federal, state and local governments.
Telep has 24 years of experience with the federal government, specifically procurement experience in military and civilian agency contracting. His experience includes small purchase awards, major contract awards, best value awards, cost and pricing analysis, and procurement policies and procedures.
Telep holds a master’s degree in business management and supervision, and is Florida SBDC-certified Business Analyst.
The SBDC is operated by FGCU College of Business and the U.S. Small Business Administration. It serves to design and deliver a collection of programs directed toward strengthening the economic benefit of Southwest Florida. Services include free counseling and educational workshops.
